2. Scope

This policy applies to all Bloq.it controlled sites and all people (directors, employees, contractors etc.) when they are conducting work on behalf of Bloq.it, both when they are on a Bloq.it controlled site and also when they are not.

  • Transparency and Accountability - we commit to open and honest reporting on our sustainability progress, aligned with our strategic objectives.
  • Human Rights and Labour Protection - we uphold the rights of workers and stakeholders—both within our organisation and throughout our supply chain.
  • Labor Standards - we respect and adhere to the fundamental conventions of the International Labour Organization (ILO), ensuring fair treatment and rights for all workers.
  • Diversity and Inclusion - we foster a diverse and inclusive workplace, providing equal opportunities for every employee.
  • Stakeholder Engagement - we actively engage with investors, customers, employees, supply chain partners, and local communities to gather feedback and drive continuous improvement.

Bloq.it’s seeks to directly contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially:

  • SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure: Smart lockers as sustainable urban infrastructure.
  • SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities: Enabling efficient last-mile delivery and reducing congestion.
  • SDG 12: Responsible Consumption & Production: Circular design and waste reduction.
  • SDG 13: Climate Action: Reducing GHG emissions from transport and operations.

4. Governance and Responsibilities

To achieve these principles, Bloq.it will:

  • Proactively identify and mitigate environmental risks to minimise our impact.
  • Implement continuous improvement principles to support our focus on sustainable operations.
  • Establish a robust management framework to meet our sustainability objectives and regularly evaluate its effectiveness for ongoing progress.
  • Appoint dedicated roles with sustainability expertise and responsibility for implementation of Bloq.it’s Sustainability Policy and Sustainability Strategy.
  • Promote the integration of the sustainability principles mentioned in this document into the daily activities of all Bloq.it workers.
