The Partnership

InPost has built its reputation on making parcel delivery faster and more convenient for millions of consumers across Europe. With more than 54,000 Automated Parcel Machines already deployed across nine countries, the company is one of the defining forces in out-of-home logistics. As demand continues to grow, InPost handled over a billion parcels in 2024 alone, the challenge is no longer just scale, but reach: getting lockers into locations that have historically been out of bounds.

To achieve this, InPost chose Bloq.it as its long-term technology partner. Under a multi-year commercial agreement, Bloq.it will supply more than 20,000 NEXT battery-powered locker units for deployment across InPost's key European markets, while also providing end-to-end services to support the growth and operation of InPost's APM network, from design and deployment through to tech-driven support and maintenance.

“Our partnership with Bloq.it is a game-changer for our European expansion. This gives us access to next-generation technology and allows us to solidify our market leadership by offering unprecedented convenience to our customers. We expect this to have a positive impact on our growth trajectory and long-term profitability."  — Rafał Brzoska, Founder and CEO of InPost

The Product

At the heart of the deployment is NEXT, Bloq.it's flagship locker unit and the most advanced off-grid parcel locker available today. NEXT runs entirely on batteries, with no reliance on the power grid or solar panels. That independence is what changes the equation for network expansion: locations that were previously impossible to serve, car parks, residential streets, transport hubs, rural communities, become viable overnight.

Built for a 10-year operational lifespan, NEXT is designed not just for scale but for longevity. Its modular architecture allows configurations to be tailored to specific site needs, while seamless API integration ensures continuity across InPost's collection, returns, and network management workflows. NEXT InPost units were already installed across France, the UK, and Spain, with Italy and Portugal planned.

Looking Ahead

Over the next few years, the rollout will accelerate across all of InPost's major European markets. For consumers, this means more collection points, closer to where they live and work, and a more flexible, 24/7 parcel experience. For InPost, it means a network that can scale without the infrastructure constraints that have historically defined the industry.

The partnership also reflects a broader shift in European logistics: out-of-home delivery is no longer a niche convenience, it is becoming the default. With Bloq.it's technology as its foundation, InPost is positioned to lead that transition.
